SearchJohn.com is an International Search Engine incorporated in Christchurch, New Zealand. The privately owned company was founded by Oxford University graduate Tom Krieg. SearchJohn is specializing in internet search.
The mission statement is "Search For Everyone" and the corporate philosophy is "Faster Search".
History
SearchJohn.com was incorporated in New Zealand on July 2001 as Soccerhighway.com Limited and changed its name to SearchJohn.com Limited in September 2004.
The company is focusing on the develelopment of a search engine and a search directory.
Philanthropy
SearchJohn.com supports the Billion Tree Campaign (www.unep.org/billiontreecampaign). Since 2007 the company is actively promoting the United Nations Billion Tree Campaign on the internet in as many forms as possile.
SearchJohn.com Search Engine is not associated with the Billion Tree Campaign in any way, nor does SearchJohn.com receive any payments for the promotion of the Billion Tree Campaign.
The Founder of SearchJohn.com started the promotion of the Billion Tree Campain after reading that the world has lost 73 Billion m2 Forest (net loss) in 2006 (Source: www.fao.org).
The vision is that all computer, software and internet companies worldwide link to the Billion Tree Campaign on all their websites, browsers, toolbars, software products, packaging, sourcecode and documentation. A link and logo to the Billion Tree Campaign should also be included in all email signatures of ALL companies worldwide as a default to promote the Billion Tree Campaign on an ongoing basis.
